PMU’s representative is glad to inform that treated water is now supplied to the most remote region of Phuoc Dinh commune. The task team has always kept watching the distribution pipelines in case any problems may occur. The work is now still in a smooth operation without any technical issues. The people were also widely disseminated that the water cannot be used for domestic and drinking activities during the time of scouring due to remaining chlorine and impurities inside the pipelines.

More than 2,100 water meters were installed for all the households too. It is expected that the work is officially in serve for the residents on August 1. The entire system is exploited and operated by Ninh Thuan Water Supply Joint Stock Company with 1 pumping station, 1 control station, 1 treated water reservoir with capacity of 700m, 1 300m3 pressure tank and 1 45-km pipeline system. The water is firstly taken from Phan Rang – Thap Cham Water Supply Plant, then treated in a variety of water treatment plants and stations in the city, Phuoc Dan, Son Hai and finally goes through the pumping station, water reservoir before being supplied to the households in Son Hai 1, Son Hai 2, Bau Ngu, Tu Thien, Vinh Truong hamlets of Phuoc Dinh commune and Tam Lang hamlet of Phuoc Nam commune.
