Regarding activities which do not use up its budgeted fund or do not ensure scheduled progress, the meeting participants suggested to transfer part of their budgeted fund into other activities in need. In addition, the participants proposed solutions for delayed activities (due to variety of objective factors), which might harden disbursements of the fiscal year and overall project, to ensure the efficient use of funds and the project progress as committed with the donor.
Mr. Ian Wood also encouraged the investor to consider the use of innovative project management tools to get a more comprehensive & visual perspective in financial planning and progress tracking of activities in 2017 and until project closure.
MCDU prioritize activities by budget availability, preparedness and duration. As a result, on-going activities are set as top priority for implementation for timely completion of the whole project.
The Integrated Water Management and Urban Development in relation to Climate Change in Ninh Thuan Province project, granted by the Kingdom of Belgium in the period of 2013 – 2019, has gone half way. MCDU is putting all of its efforts to finish the project with best results and timely progress.
