The negotiation attendees comprised of the representatives of the consultancy unit, the Joint Name between the Southern Institute of Water Resources Planning and Institute of Water Resources and Environment in Southeast Asia, and the investor, MCDU.
At the negotiation, the participating sides came to an agreement on: Content and quantity of outputs, database formatting, reporting, detailed regulation on acceptance and payment documents of delivery of works.
The research aims to support Ninh Thuan province in climate change vulnerability assessment in water resources management and urban development. Moreover, it also supports to develop a climate change resilience action plan for Cai river basin and the surrounding areas. The implementation duration of the research is 12 months, and the contract is expected to officially start in November, 2017.
The research is under the Integrated Water Resources Management and Urban Development in relation to Climate Change in Ninh Thuan Province, granted by the Government of the Kingdom of Belgian for Ninh Thuan province in the period of 2013 – 2019.
