During the working session, the project officials were provided instructions on building essential indicators, technical parameters under the component of Rural Water Supply for the program verification. The task team highlighted the PMU should focus on the indicators during the construction duration as well as work classification such as: unfinished, new constructed or upgraded/ expanded to facilitate the document verification of these works afterwards. Besides, through the working session, the PMU members were supported in catching up with necessary information of budget disbursement, processes of document preparation and procedure implementation for disbursement.
In the afternoon of the same day, the Team carried out a field visit to Son Hai Water Supply system to visit households at Son Hai 1, Son Hai 2 villages. The work results up to now were highly appreciated.
The task team recognized the PMU’s efforts, which have been maintained despite of challenges normally appearing in Program for results (PforR). Ninh Thuan is one of the provinces achieving good implementation progress in terms of punctuality and procedure satisfactory. The Team hoped that PMU, with the assistance of the Provincial People’s Committee and the relevant departments/agencies, would carry out other related components of the project successfully.
The SupR project is under National Target Program for Rural Water Supply and Sanitation, financed by the World Bank, in 21 provinces nationwide.
