Besides the required knowledge, the trainees were shared with the practical experiences gained during the assistance provision to the provinces by the WB’s leading experts. Several issues were also put up for intensive discussion, namely consultant recruitment in procurement management, regular expenditures in financial management, environmental and social safeguard management and resettlement as well as communication strategies and methods, monitoring and evaluation before and during the project implementation.
In particular, the M & E class played an important role in the project implementation with defying and supporting a project to achieve its objectives and progress requirement. The participants also learned and shared their own experience of project implementation in their province.
The training, information and experience sharing from the above training courses will assist the project staff in the implementation process in their localities. This is also a chance for exchanges, sharing experiences, connecting the network of project management boards of the provinces across the country.
Participating in the courses with information instruction, provision and experience sharing would be much supportive to the PMUs staff in their further project implementation in the province. This was also a chance for experience exchanging and sharing as well as facilitating connection among the provincial PMUs nationwide.
