The exchange was to strengthen the connection and create a channel for communication sharing and community development among the members of Green Clubs from the secondary schools, the Voluntary student groups for Environment and Community, and the Youth Union Branch of MCDU. Moreover, it was aimed to raise the members’ awareness and communication skills related to climate change, resilience and mitigation actions, and water resources protection. Beside those purposes of sharing and connection, it successfully created a helpful play ground where the participants’ understandings, skills, aptitudes for art and creativity were showed through four interesting contest parts including greeting, eloquence, artistic performance and 3T product design (Reduce, Recycle and Reuse).
The exchange was joined in by more than 130 members from Green Clubs of Truong Dinh, Le Dinh Chinh secondary schools, the Voluntary student groups for Environment and Community of Ninh Thuan College of Education and Ho Chi Minh City Agriculture and Forestry University - Branch in Ninh Thuan and the Youth Union Branch of MCDU.
With the spirit of “Work hard, play hard”, the contest teams brought to the exchange lively performances and creative 3T products highlighting the broad topic of climate change-resilient actions and water resources protection. Especially, the exchange was brought extremely impressed, confident and professional performances by the students of Truong Dinh and Le Dinh Chinh secondary school who will become excellent communicators in the future. They showed their abilities and talents which were considered as excellent as the older ones’ and won the highest prizes deservedly.
The exchange and experience sharing of communication and community development in 2017 closed with feelings of happiness and delight, and left a memorable impression on each participant in terms of topic, people and communication messages conveyed by the teams. Those messages, calling for joint actions to protect our environment, water resources and respond to climate change for a green life, were spread among them.
